With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?

As an artist, I realized I am both, the teacher and the student. I was working on my first and latest singles. I went from being a performer of cover songs to making my own music. Writing my thoughts and feelings was personally transforming, because I was also soul-searching to find myself, musically, in fragments of sounds and honest words spawned from vulnerability.

How has that affected your plans for the coming year? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?

Earlier this year, I released a pair of singles. I’ve started a new enlightening journey in anticipation of a monumental future in music. It’s only the beginning of a revolutionary sounds and my words of wisdom added to the legacy of Canadians and worldwide. I lead with playfulness, curiosity, quirky wit and sparked a lively conversation in “Zodiac Sign”, which is the latest enchanting single since my debut release, “Butterflies” — Full metaphors for metamorphosis and unrequited love.

What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home? How are you supporting your mental health through all of this?

I honour myself by respecting my thoughts and feelings, so I’m excited to continue transforming words into stories that share my life lessons. Now, I’m going in a direction of artistic development to better articulate and express creativity through different avenues. I have a tremendous amount of hardworking supporters that believe in my stride to major success. Shout out to my team, Wise Eyes Entertainment and Eric Alper!

How are dealing with the Covid third wave?

Apart from listening to music... I’m interested in making connections to get better understanding of POVs outside my own, consider me an extroverted-introvert, ha-ha-ha! I’ve also discovered a broad network of people who are sharing their talents and voices, virtually, like us on various platforms. A different setting and approach to the term “Social Butterfly” without the aspect of being in close proximity. Yet, we’re somehow reaching across lands and sea — not out of necessity, but to rediscover the importance of socializing as a whole in our busy society. For now, I’m fortunate and intrigued.

Favourite Starlite Room Moment?

I’m undecided. While, the world is adapting by having virtual performances #ForTheLoveofMusic, there’s still a lot of people that have been accustomed to live-shows, not streams. It’s a rare to say you’ve been in the same room as an artist you admire or recall how it felt when you experienced all the feels you imagined once you heard their recorded songs. It’s better to celebrate every Starlite Room Moment.

Do you have a message for everyone at home reading this?

I invite you to join the movement with me as Wise Eyes. When I met challenges, setbacks, and missed opportunities. It was hard to stay driven, but I’m not easily defeated. Be conscious of the beauty you posses that comes from within and was derived out the challenges of becoming a stronger you. Growth is on the horizon.
