SAZERAC!

INGREDIENTS

Absinthe Rinse
1 1/2oz Rye (we used Crown Royal…till we ran out and had to add a bit of Buffalo Trace Bourbon…shrug)
1/2oz Courvoisier Cognac
1 Tsp Demerara Syrup (2 parts sugar, 1 part water)
4 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
1 dash Angostura Bitters
1 Lemon Twist

DIRECTIONS

Rinse a rocks glass with absinthe and dump (into your mouth).
Stir the remaining ingredients (except the lemon twist) over ice, then strain into the glass.
Squeeze the lemon twist over the drink and discard. No garnish.

Now you classy.
