SOCIAL DISTANCING - Day 5 - Alarms

My alarm went off at noon and I thought I was late for work. I showered two days ago, so I was ready to wear a toque to work. Then I remembered I didn't have to go to work or change out of my pyjamas. I put deodorant on and brushed my teeth anyway. It was time. After doing that (still didn’t shower though…maybe later) I remembered also why I had set my alarm - It was because today is the day that my dear friend David was coming over. After booking him an Uber, on account of being too lazy to drive to pick him up, I decided bacon and eggs were in order. We ate our brunch when he got here and then set up the playstation on the basement TV. (Side note----Our Compliments brand HP/Brown Sauce, is the best ever.)

An hour into watching him and Podgey play games (I am not allowed to play on account of my domination of Red Dead Redemption 2-----that story is for another day though), I decided it was high time David and I applied for EI. That took about 2.5 hours and 6 cans of orange pop. We nailed it though. Hopefully. 

I then took some ground beef out of the freezer (lean, not extra lean, as Safeway had no extra lean when I was there two days ago aka-my shower day) to make spaghetti for dinner. Then I remembered that I had told Andrea I’d write a blog while River City Revival was closed. 

So here I sit on my balcony, drinking a tepid PBR that I discovered on the floor of my room. It’s not as delicious as one might think. Curious.

Fun fact: When I got my laptop back from David applying for his EI, it was LITERALLY covered in sugar. #asistradition
