How time flies, yikes. Show got a little away from us with *gestures at the world* but we couldn't let the anniversary of this silly thing to go uncelebrated! And Easter to boot.
Dusted off from a (probably) 1922 recipe book, this one looks bizarre on paper, but given enough stirs, the flavours blend and bounce off each other quite amazingly.
THE YELLOW PARROT!
INGREDIENTS
1oz Apricot Brandy
1oz Yellow Chartruese
1oz Absinthe
DIRECTIONS
Pour all ingredients in a stirring glass filled with ice.
Stir.
Now stir more.
Even more.
Don't stop yet.
Stir even more.
You literally cannot over stir this one.
So stir even longer.
That bit of ice melt is the glue for these 3 bold flavours to hang out and party.
Now strain into a highball glass with oversized ice cube.
