With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
We were still attending school at Grant Macewan University, during our final month of first semester.
How has that affected your plans for the coming year? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
We had shows lined up for that whole summer, and super excited to make our debut in the Edmonton music scene.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home? How are you supporting your mental health through all of this?
We've been able to keep relatively busy recording at the Grant Macewan Studios, following all COVID restrictions and still managing to release not one but TWO EP's in the past year. None the less, the band has gone through a tremendous amount of stress related to COVID and stagnation over the past year.
As things are reopening & restrictions are lifting have you booked any new gigs? Tours? Etc? If your region is still under restriction, how are dealing with the Covid third wave?
Yeah! So following the release of our new EP, "With Consent", we've started to gradually line up shows and festival opportunities once more. Now that restrictions have lifted we can get together in small groups to safely write and record once more. I can't tell you how much being able to get together has affected the morale of the band. It couldn't have come at a sooner time!
