With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?

For me, when the pandemic went down, I was just at the beginning of feeling really passionate about finally figuring out a live performance style that worked best for me. Since then, I’ve really prioritized working on digital releases and showcasing digitally. It’s the closest thing we have right now to making a connection.

How has that affected your plans for the coming year? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?

I’ve released a bulk of the stronger parts of my catalogue during the pandemic. It helped me focus on building a bigger audience that will hopefully excite listeners to attend shows/tours when we’re all safe to do so.

What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home? How are you supporting your mental health through all of this?

As all things right now, mental health can be in flux. It can get hard, and scary, not knowing or seeing an end. I’m a homebody at heart and love working from home, so I took the time to build a stronger home studio and try to fill my free time with all forms of art.

How are dealing with the Covid fifth wave? Have things locked down again in your region? Have you had to cancel gigs, tours, etc.? Are things reopening & restrictions are lifting in your region? Have you booked any new gigs, tours, etc.? What are your plans for 2022?

I would say sometimes less well than my peers. It’s all pretty exhausting.

Do you have a message for everyone at home reading this?

Keep up the hustle folks-don’t back down when times get hard.
