With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
We were mostly home when this all started to get serious, one of us was in Mexico, but got home just before the travel lockdowns.
How has that affected your plans for the coming months? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
We were in the studio finishing a new single, so this has all definitely made us have to rework our process. Luckily all of our members have access to and experience with recording, so it didn't take use long to transition to an online collaborative form.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home?
Writing for the most part, but throw in a ton of whiskey and video games into the mix as well.
Favourite quarantine meal?
You should see the creations John has made with his deep fryer!
Favourite Starlite Room Moment?
A few years back at the Trivium, TOOC, AEF show, "Rod Stewart" tried to stage dive after introducing TOOC and the people straight up parted. Its cool though, he broke his fall with his face.
Do you have a message for everyone at home reading this?
Yeah! If you're stuck at home like we are, find the small enjoyable stuff you used to love that had to be left behind when your life got crazy. Reconnect with those things, and spend time video chatting your loved ones, it's not the same as being in person, but it also means we have the time to get to know people again.
